"I hate this act - the one where
you move like you want me but
don’t. The one where you’re all
words and no hands. We are
electric when we’re in the same
room, but when you leave you
forget me and I can never seem
to get rid of your charge."

100% of people who tell you you’re too sensitive are saying it because they don’t want to be held responsible for your reaction when they mistreat you

100% not true - I have a few people in my life who are hands down too sensitive, and I’m extremely sensitive myself (I know what is a healthy amount of sensitivity to have to an extent), and these people twist and bend things to make them upset and I constantly have to walk on eggshells around them. There is definitely a healthy amount of sensitivity to have, but too much or too little is unhealthy for you and those around you. Disclaimer though: I’ve never TOLD someone they are too sensitive. Maybe once or twice, but generally I just stay quiet about it. Why? Because they’re so sensitive if you told them “you’re too sensitive,” they’d take great offense.
